On 26th September 2025, BitDoctor had the honor of visiting Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia, where we were invited by the APU Blockchain Club (APUBCC) to deliver a talk and host an interactive AMA session.

This event gave us the opportunity to share our vision of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain can work hand-in-hand to transform healthcare, especially in the field of preventive health screening and Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) detection.

The Challenge: Healthcare Gaps in NCD Detection

Non-Communicable Diseases such as heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes are among the leading causes of death worldwide. Many of these conditions go undetected until it’s too late — largely due to limited access to early screening, high healthcare costs, and underserved communities lacking proper medical infrastructure.

This is where BitDoctor comes in.

BitDoctor leverages AI-powered facial scanning technology and blockchain-based data integrity to:

Detect up to 30 health parameters within 60 seconds using just a smartphone camera.
Provide hyper-personalized insights and early warnings of potential NCD risks.
Reduce healthcare costs by enabling scalable, accessible preventive health solutions.
Empower underserved communities by turning smartphones into disease-detection nodes.

Our approach combines cutting-edge AI diagnostics with decentralized infrastructure, ensuring trust, transparency, and inclusivity in healthcare access.

Engaging with the Next Generation of Innovators

At APU, we were humbled to share this mission with a room full of bright and passionate students, researchers, and innovators. The interactive AMA session brought forward exciting questions — ranging from the technical backbone of our AI, to how blockchain ensures data security, and even the future role of healthcare tokens in creating a sustainable ecosystem.

It was inspiring to see such curiosity and drive from the APU community, reminding us why partnerships with academia and youth-led communities are so crucial for shaping the future of healthcare innovation.
